It’s time to rediscover together glimpses of Bucharest of yesteryear, to discover the unique history of urban architecture, to get to know better the stories and innovative ideas that were born in this city almost 100 years ago, when “Little Paris” was in the midst of modernization.
“Yesteryear Bucharest” is a project carried out by București Mall – Vitan in partnership with the National Technical Museum Prof. Ing. Dimitrie Leonida, a surprising exhibition with photographs with Bucharest from the early 1900s, from the museum’s heritage.
We invite you to visit the exhibition until December 6th, 2020, right in Bucuresti Mall – Vitan. You will learn many interesting things, such as the fact that the first cubical stone of the Northern Railway Station was laid in the presence of King Carol the 1st, or even that the first advanced aerodynamic car in the world, with the wheels integrated into the car body, patented internationally was designed by a Bucharest mechanical engineer!
