The first exhibition of the literary vanguard in a shopping mall in Romania? Yes, at București Mall – Vitan! We invite you until January 12, 2021 to explore the exhibition “Romanian Vanguard – European Vanguard”, the place where the original humor, parodic and drawing stand alongside the portraits of the most representative vanguard writers, literary fragments and pages from vanguard magazines.

The anti-art current, started in 1916 in Zurich, by Romanian Tristan Tzara and German Hugo Ball, gathered around him those shaken by conventions, common places, routine, sentimentality and “all that is cute and fair, limited, moralistic.” Now you have the chance to discover up close the echoes of Dada, which have reached over time the punk movement, conceptual art, and pop art!

We therefore expect you in the first mall in Romania to discover for the first time the exhibition “Romanian Vanguard – European Vanguard”, a celebration of the courage of Romanian thought.
